After scouring the Internet for cool bandanas for my pug, I quickly discovered the lack of originality in traditional dog bandanas.

 

I really wanted to see more color and pattern options, so I started making some myself out of my husband’s old shirts and other forgotten clothing items. After teaching myself to sew (first things first) and making prototypes for all my favorite dogs, Thrift Dog became a thing.

 

From classic plaid shirts to 80’s skirts, there is a wealth of treasures just waiting to be transformed. Each bandana is one-of-a-kind and perfectly imperfect, just like your dog.
